Now it’s summertime and we are all planning a vacation to some kind of exotic island. Some of us are dreaming about traveling to remote places like Egypt, while others, who live in hotter climates are planning to chill a little bit this summer in northern resorts.

Still and all, even though it may seem like the summer is all about having fun and enjoying yourself, the main reason we do this is, because we are bored, and there is not much we can do at home. Student’s don’t need to attend schools so they have 2 months all for themselves and it’s sometimes hard to come up with interesting ideas.

In this blog post, we came up with a few options you can do this summer, to make the time pass quicker, yet without hurting the pocket too much.

1 – Play online games.

While you may be tempted to get out and play under the sun, sometimes staying in the comfort of your home is so much better. Many people spice up their boring summer nights playing casino games. You can choose from a wide selection of HD games, where you not only going to enjoy playing games such as Game of Thrones, Gladiators and Book of Golds, but also make some money along the way.  From Virtual sports to Live Vegas, you can choose what suits your mood and – fingers crossed – win enough for a luxurious summer vacation afterwards.

2 – Go abroad

The best time to visit remote destinations is the summertime, because it’s warm enough and you don’t need to pack too many clothes with you, which makes traveling so much lighter and easier. If you have a remove destination you always wanted to visit, use this opportunity and make your dream come true! We always recommend that you book your trip in advance to make sure you don’t pay the highest price, and have the time to look for a good deal on your hotel and air tickets.

3 – Take classes

Now that you have so much free time on your hands, you can use this time to learn a new skill and improve yourself or your skills in a particular area. There is a wide variety of summer camps and classes that offer a wide range of services, from an all-inclusive camps to just local classes you can attend for an hour every week. Use this free time to learn yoga, a new language, improve your survival skills or anything else you may have always wanted. Remember, summertime is all about relaxing, and making your dreams come true!

4 – Downloads movies

If you never had enough time to binge watch all the series on Netflix and all the newly released episodes, now it’s the perfect time to take a timeout from all the life around you, stock up on snacks and beverages and make yourself a cosy place where you can watch all the seasons and episodes of your favourite movies in one go… Because let’s admit it – there is nothing like watching an entire season in one sitting.

5  – Throw a party

If you want to be around your friends and enjoy the summer, but don’t feel like paying too much money on vacations or bars, you can throw a party at home, with a little bit of grilling, beer, and snacks. If you organize your shopping list wisely and make sure everyone brings their share, you can all enjoy a great party on your backyard with music, friends and food, and it won’t cost you much!

6 – Throw a Garage sale

If you are not the type of person who plays video or casino games nor someone who throws parties nor travels to remote destinations, you can always use this time to take a little timeout and re-organize your house, get rid of the old stuff you haven’t used in ages and arrange a garage sale – cash in on some of that old clutter. You can also use the warm season to renovate your house, and make all these changes you have been postponing the entire year.

That’s it, I hope this blog post has inspired you and gave you a few ideas about what can you do this summer, so you won’t go crazy from boredom. Let me know in the comments below, if you have any other ideas.
