Original Art Painting On a Digital Canvas – Photoshop Tutorial
T
This tutorial’s purpose is to make an imitation of real painting, made using semi dry brushes.
The final result will be this:

so, lets get started… Make a new canvas, 450*450.
White your colours are set to black and white, go to Filter >> Render >> Clouds and apply the clouds effect (once)
Using the marquee tool, select half of the canvas (or a bit more than half, as this will be out “sky”) and add a lot of Contrast (Image >> Adjustments >> Brightness / Contrast) as shown on the picture below.
While the upper part of the canvas is still selected, go to Image >> Adjustments >> Hue / Saturation and set the following settings to colorize the “sky” and make it bluish. Don’t forget to check the “colorize” box when applying the settings.
After finishing the color process, press Shft + Ctrl + I to inverse the selection.
Now that the lower half of the canvas is selected, go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur and apply the following horizontal blur…
Create a new layer. While half the canvas is still selected, fill it with white (means you will only have white inside the selection).
Go to Filters >> Noise >> Add noise, and apply these “noisy” settings:
Go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion blur and again apply the horizontal blur, only this time upon the noise effect. We are trying to paint the calm water, we need lots of tiny waves and this would be the easiest way to make them)
Glowing Monsters Eyes at Night – Easy Photoshop Tutorial
T
We used a picture of Amy Lee, so for a start you need to get some photo to work with, though don’t forget that you need someone with light eyes, it wont work good enough on brown / black eyes.. discrimination, I know.

You can take the picture of Amy Lee that we used as her eyes are really bright.
Duplicate the layer.
Select the upper layer, and go to Hues / Saturation and reduce the colors of the upper layer fully.

Select the eraser tool, very small with sharp edge, we used 5px but u may want to work with even smaller size.
erase the upper (black n’ white) layer from the inside of the eye. Don’t touch the white area of the eye.

so u will get something like this…

Dark Fantasy Art Photoshop tutorial – Fairy and Sunset Landscap
D
Despite been classed as fantasy art, this is a mere photo manipulation – make a fairy and your own mystic scenery; creating a landscape from scrap is now possible! I was inspired by the huge success of my previous fantasy art tut, which I posted in this forum last week… I got quite a few emails thanking me for it and many PS blogs featured it, so I decided to give in to repeated requests from millions of loving fans and do one more fantasy / scenery tut…
This is basically a mix of whats we call “fantasy art” and “dark/ gothic art”

I want to mention in advance that this tutorial is mostly for more experienced users, here we will need to use a lot of “hand work” and common sense; you will be working with your own images, and would need to adjust to the “needs” of your landscape.
So, lets get started… make a new canvas – 600* 400.
Fill your background layer with any dark colour, we chose to do it with blue, but you can use black as well.

Take a picture of a girl… we used this one, from Liam Stock, free photo resource.. ( http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/39058232/ <– Full resolution image)
This would depend on the image you use, but try to crop the figure accurately and remove the background.
Select the cropped girl from your canvas, and paste it unto the blue fantasy canvas we will create.
Place her in the middle, not to close to the edge, as she will be our leitmotif.

Next step, you will need different photos in order to combine a landscape.
First off, a photo of a shore. We took a pic offered free by ~gladly.

Press ctrl + a to select the entire water scape, Ctrl + c to copy it, and then , when you go to the fantasy canvas – press Ctrl + V to paste it.
Create A Stylish Surfing Fashion Label Tag
This tutorial will teach you how to create a stylish and eye-catchy Surfing Fashion Label Tag. As I live in a country where surfing is quite popular, I can confidently assure you that surfing fashion is different from other fashion brands, you will never mix a surfing fashion store with any other, both by color and style, so let’s get started..

Step 1.
Pick a photo with a surfer. We picked a surfer girl (original photo by Chris Aschenbrener), and since our photo did not have a very strong contrast, we modified the levels a little bit.

Step 2.
Now we want to add sun rays that “shine” from the main character or figure. So create a new layer, and using the custom shape tool, select the shape called “Registration target 2″ (comes default in Photoshop), draw a circle as shown on the image below.
Fantasy Art Photopshop Tutorial – Plasma in the Lake
T
The requests for Fantasy Art tutorials are enormous, I still get emails and Pms from people asking to do more Fantasy Art tuts, so here is one more, called “Plasma” (Star, not the TV!) which I hope you’d enjoy.

1. Make a new canvas, we used 600*480 px here, but the size is of course optional.
2. Select the Gradient Tool, using two shades of blue (see below), fill your canvas, so that the darker colour will be on top.

3. Take a photo of a girl. Traditionally I am using Becca‘s photo from her Deviant Art account, but you can replace her with any semi-sitting figure of your choice. Crop the figure and paste her unto your canvas. In needed, resize her so that she will fit in.

4. To get rid of the visible crappy cropping, and to give the girl more emphasis, add blueish glow to her by going to Layer >> Layer Styles >> Outer Glow and applying the following settings:

This is what you would get:
5. Make a new Layer. Make sure your primarily and secondary colours are black and white. Go to Filter >> Render >> Clouds
