Although we post a lot of tutorials that teach you how to turn your ordinary photos into professional shots, many of us still get stuck and end up playing actions. It only takes seconds and the result is often very impressive. With so many ideas and experience I have, I decided it would be a shame if I won’t release a set of actions to help the readers of PSwish.com and LoreleiWebDesign.com, so here is my first release, PSWISH 3 Action (pro). Please note that this action is for personal use one, and cannot be resold or redistributed on other websites. Instruction: The action will work best with LIGHT photos. A (Complete) Beginners Guide to Bird Photography

Photos and article written by our guest poster Prajneet Singh. The amount of detail that can be found in nature, no human creation can ever match. The beauty, the freshness, the colors of nature, it is all just so amazing; no wonder so many people take up nature photography as a hobby or maybe even a profession. But with the kind of flora and fauna out there, you are left with a wide variety of subjects to choose from: beautiful landscapes and seascapes, to little flowers and insects, to big cats, to creatures of the air – birds. Bird watching has always been a popular hobby with nature lovers, and with the advent of digital photography, bird photography has turned into a sort of extension of birding. But the fact remains...

Original Art Painting On a Digital Canvas – Photoshop Tutorial

This tutorial was originally posted on loreleiweb.com but due to technical reasons moved. The tutorial remains a copyright property of Lorelei (me!) This tutorial’s purpose is to make an imitation of real painting, made using semi dry brushes. The final result will be this: so, lets get started… Make a new canvas, 450*450. White your colours are set to black and white, go to Filter >> Render >> Clouds and apply the clouds effect (once) Using the marquee tool, select half of the canvas (or a bit more than half, as this will be out “sky”) and add a lot of Contrast (Image >> Adjustments >> Brightness / Contrast) as shown on the picture below. Glowing Monsters Eyes at Night – Easy Photoshop Tutorial

This tutorial moved permanently from loreleiweb.com due to technical reasons. Ok, so this is going to be an ultra simple tutorial for making this image. It can add a lot of sexy and elegant yet creepy effect to any of your family photos, so since it’s a quick and easy tut I sincerely recommend you to try it out. We used a picture of Amy Lee, so for a start you need to get some photo to work with, though don’t forget that you need someone with light eyes, it wont work good enough on brown / black eyes.. discrimination, I know.
